How To Compose a Message on iOS
- Open your WorkJam mobile app and log in.
- Navigate to the Messages screen by pressing on Messages using the tabs at the bottom of your screen.
- Tap on new message icon in the top right hand side to create a new message.
- Select recipients by typing directly in the "To" field or by clicking on the plus (+) sign. By clicking on the plus (+) sign, you can search your contacts, add multiple recipients at once, and filter your contacts by location.
- Give your message a subject and some body content.
- Press Send
How To Compose a Message on Android
- Open your WorkJam mobile app and log in.
- Navigate to the Messages screen by pressing on Inbox within the hamburger menu.
- Tap on the pencil icon in the lower right hand side to create a new message.
- Select recipients by typing directly in the "To" field or by clicking on the plus (+) sign.
- Search your contacts, add multiple recipients at once, and filter your contacts by location.
- Give your message a subject and some body content.
- Press Send
How To Compose a Message on the Web App
- Log into your WorkJam account at https://app.workjam.com/login.
- Click on the Messages button in the top menu bar to be taken to your main inbox page.
- Now, click on the New Message button on the left hand side to create a new message. This will open up a sidebar where you can compose your message and add recipients.
- Add recipients by typing into the To field. If you have permissions to use lists and would like to use a pre-existing target audience, you can access those lists by clicking on "Use List."
- Give your message a subject:
- Create the body of your message. The web app supports HTML formatting, so you can get creative and add rich content, including images, tables, and links.
- If you have permission to broadcast a message, you can control whether or not replies are allowed. Check the "No Replies Allowed" if you don't want anyone to reply to the message.
- If you have permission to broadcast a message, you can also hide the recipients of the message. Check the "broadcast" checkbox and when the message is sent, the recipients will not see who else received it.
- Click Send
